Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with th format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additonal information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ N00203-05-Q-8219 and a subsequent document will not be issued. Naval Hospital Pensacola Operating Room has a requirement for the following items, NAME BRAND OR EQUAL, NUVO Surgical,Dual Surgical Light System with wall and handle controls, 5 EACH. Please note that this is a Preliminary Request for Quote. Bidders are requested to provide Product Literature if quoting on a equal product, and quote must be good throught September 20, 2005. The offeror must be registered with the CCR, Central Contracting Register. If not registered application is available on the internet at www.ccr.gov. Dual Surgical Light System With Wall and Handle Controls, 5 Each Mounted on 43" and 36" arms, dual heads need to rotate freely about the surgical field with total stability providing unlimited positioning. Pattern size adjustment and light intensity should be adjustable within the sterile field by the surgeon. The handle can be sterilized. Pattern size should be at least 5.5 to 10". Other requirements are as follows: 137,000 Lox (12,700 Foot-candles) light intensity for a single 180-Watt Bulb per Light Head (for a total of 274,000 Lox), Back-up bulb that illuminates within milliseconds when the primary bulb fails. Spare bulbs are conveniently located in the wall control housing for easy access. Sealed light head combined with ultra cool operation, Color correct light optimized at 4,300 degree K to ensure accurate patient assessment. Superior shadow control---the light head will tolerate as much a 70% of the emitted light being blocked before a noticeable change in pattern intensity is witnessed. Drift-free counterbalance arms that are free to rotate continuously at every point. Electrical power 120V, Transformer (Ceiling Control) for Dual Lights 12V, Wall Control with standard 30' Control Harness Dual. Installation and dismounting of existing lights shall be provided.
