Description

The Naval Hospital Pensacola, Florida intends to award a sole source procurement to Depuy Mitek for implantables used in ACL Sets, the G-II Anchor Sets and the VAPR III Radio Frequency System, currently used in the Operating Room at the Naval Hospital Pensacola. NAICS for this requirement is 339113. These items must be from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as stated in DFAR 217.7501 (Replenishment parts must be aquired so as to ensure the safe, dependable, and effective operation of the equipment. Where this assurance is not possible with new sources, competition may be limited to the original manufacturer of the equipment or other sources that have previously manufactured or furnished the parts as long as the action is justified). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the contractor?s capability to provide the implants. Information can be email to the Contracting Officer. No telephone requests or inquiries will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no Reponses are received the Naval Hospital Pensacola, will proceed with the sole source procurement with Mitek.
