Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8231), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to PKWare of Ohio Inc, 9009 Springboard Pike, Miamisburg, OH 45342-4418. This acquisition is for the renewal of software licenses and enhancements for PKWare PKZIP/MVS software for DISA Computing Services at their Mechanicsburg, St. Louis, and Ogden sites . These software licenses and enhancements are proprietary to PKWare, who owns all rights to the software?s source code and who are the only responsible sole source for maintenance. Period of performance is 1 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software license and enhancement renewal must request a copy of the RFQ not later than COB 8 Aug 05 via the following address: maria.meyer@disa.mil. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered. The NAICS code is 511210 for this procurement.*****
