- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Although this is a combined synopsis/solicitation, please refer to the hard copy solicitation available on the Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/. You must submit your proposal on the hard copy solicitation. From the Gateway homepage, left-hand sidebar, select ?Search RFPs.? Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 08 August 2005. Closing Date is 08 September 2005. The solicitation SP0406-05-R-3577 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a Fixed Price/Economic Price Adjustment Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base year and four one-year option periods for multiple NSNs. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR. This procurement is unrestricted, other than full and open competition. The following information applies to both NSNs: These are commercial items. MSDS and hazardous warning label are required. Original Manufacturer?s commercial unit packaging is required. Repackaging is not authorized. Stock delivery to SRG Richmond VA and AQ5 Tracy CA will be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. QAP 251 applies. NSN 6840-01-287-3938; unit quantity is a box containing twelve 9-oz. aerosols. Delivery is 30 DARO. Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Stock to SRG (Richmond VA) is 163 BX; Stock to AQ5 (Tracy, CA) is 67 BX. Item Description: Insecticide, Boric Acid. Approved source is Whitmire Micro-Gen, CAGE 67184, P/N PT-249 Perma Dust. NSN 6840-01-426-5472; unit quantity is a package containing 36 Bait Stations. Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Stock to SRG (Richmond VA) is 539 PG; Stock to AQ5 (Tracy CA) is 246 PG. Item Description: Insecticide, Ant Bait Stations. Approved source is Whitmire Micro-Gen, CAGE 67184, P/N Advance Dual Choicein. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
