- Description
- The work is authorized under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program due to recent heavy rain and resultant flooding conditions to relieve imminent hazards to life and property. The work consists of site dewatering and the installation of approximately 80 linear feet of heavy rock riprap to stabilize the stream bed and banks along Fox Hollow Road in the town of Shandaken, Ulster County, New York. A site showing has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2005 at the Shandaken Town Hall located on the south side of State Route 28, approximately 2.5 miles west of Phoenicia. Alternative payment protection in the amount of 50% of contract amount in the form of a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit will be required within 5 calendar days of award of contract. All necessary permits and land rights have been acquired. Price Range is between $25,000 - $100,000 The solicitation package will be available on Monday, August 8, 2005 on FedBizOpps and at the site showing. Maximum performance time will be 30 calendar days.
