- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to renew Dialog Corporation on-line information newswire service by placing a delivery order against the Library of Congress/Fedlink Basic Ordering Agreement #LOC04C-7019. The FBI intends to use the service for this base period and 4 additional one year option periods. The FBI intends to renew the subscription with Dialog Corporation, for continued services of on-line database news media information retrieval services to FBI Headquarters. This service integrates live "real time" news wire feeds from major commercial news sources on a broad variety of domestic and international topics that updates news stories, alerts users to breaking news of interest, permits the establishment of user profiles to automatically identify and sort stories on preselected topics. The FBI will provide the supporting computer hardware (e.g. server, processor, and storage capacity). The requirement consists of the following: (1) 29 each NewsEdge Insight and Live Enterprise News Package; (2) 1 each AP Alerts - Crime; (3) 1 each AP World Stream; (4) 1 each FDCH eMedia Political Transcripts. It is believed that there is no other sources capable of providing the required services. Destination: Washington, DC. Interested persons able to meet the requirement are invited to identify their interest and capability by submitting a proposal to include technical capabilities and pricing, and any other information which shows an ability to meet this requirement within 15 calendar days of this publication. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a qualified source more advantageous to the Government is available, a delivery order will be placed with the above-named vendor.
