- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs propose to contract for pest control services at the Minneapolis VAMC, and the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies and equipment for complete pest control services and shall respond in accordance with the quotation instructions outlined in the solicitation. Performance period will be October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 with two one-year option periods. This solicitation is for full and open competition under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All qualified offers are invited to provide their quotation. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency, and satisfactory past performance. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. Award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13.5, and a combination of FAR part 12, 13, 15, and 17 award procedures. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about August 1, 2005 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the quotation preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely. No web based offers will be accepted. The NACIS code assigned to this procurement will be 561710 with a size standard of $6 million.
