Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to replace 126 fixed auditorium chairs, 22 inches wide, 9 rows spaced 48 inches apart at the visitor center at Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge, AL. Contractor shall provide materials, labor, installation and delivery. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 238390. The size standard is $12.0 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 08/08/05, with a 08/26/05 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued. Work will not commence until the installation of new carpet is completed. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ Number 401815Q179. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Registration with the Fish and Wildlife Service for Electronic Commerce (EC) at the National Business Center (NBC) Web site will also be required. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
