In accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) the National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The work consists of the general abatement of the asbestos pipe insulation, and removal of asbestos containing materials, and the removal of lead based material in areas impacted by the mechanical systems upgrade at the Kings Mountain National Military Park Headquarters Building, Blacksburg, SC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 562910; the size standard is $7.0 million. Estimated price range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Tentative issue date: August 15, 2005.
