- Description
- The proposed contract listed is set aside 100% for a small business, and applies to Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 561612 and size standard of $10,500,000. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. The project is located at the Base Education Center, Bldg 841, 1205 Black Powder Rd, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming and involves providing after hours security and faculty support for the Base Education Center in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The contract is for one base year and two option years. Estimated workload is 240 four-hour and fifteen minute sessions for base year and for each option year. Period of performance for base year is 1 Oct 05 to 30 Sept 06 and option years are from 1 Oct 06 to 30 Sept 07 and 1 Oct 07 to 30 Sept 08. Issue date for this solicitation in anticipated to be on or about 1 August 2005, with a closing date of 1 September 2005. Experience, past performance, and price will be rated equally and ward made to the contractor best meeting the above requirements and presenting the best value to the Government. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) on the internet. Please contact Lt Sickels for assistance in getting registered. This synopsis and future solicitation is subject to clause 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
