- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial parts and services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is for the purchase of fire truck equipment and installation as shown below. All products are name brand or equal. 1 each 120 VOLT 20 AMP twist lock receptacle 1 each Tripod light?FCA656-S75 1 each Generator?10KW Harrison 1 EACH Receptable I Wheel Well receptable will be Standard Duplex 15 AMP w/wet location cover and wired to circuit breaker panel 4 each Spare Bottle Compartments 1 each Battery Conditioner Kussmaul auto charge 1000 W/A 20 AMP auto eject w/red cover 4 ea rechargeable handlights streamlight litebox model 45109? color yellow 1 each power strip 120 volt 2 ea Floodlights, research model FCA200-M10 1000 watt 120 volt recessed in body and centered. 2 each tripod lights for rear of truck fire research model FCA600-M10 1000 WATT 120 VOLT 1 each cord reel equal to hanney ECR 1620-17-18. Reel must have 250 FT OF 10/3 Yyellow cord; 4 outlet junction boxes wired to the cord. 4 20 AMP twist lock receptables. 1 each rear scene lights EQUAL WHELEN model 81E 1 each Electric outlets on truck. 20 AMP twist lock with wet location covers 1 each Generator system Harrison Hydraulic Generator mounted behind pass side step area w/hydralic tank mounted in driver side first compartment. 4 each spare bottle compartments 1 each on board battery conditioner w/20 amp auto eject Shoreline receptable?KUSSMAUL AUTO CHARGE 1000 W/A 20 AMP Super auto eject w/a black cover. 4 each rechargable handlights in cab streamlight model 45109 Littebox yellow in color wired and fuxed to the battery 1 each Cord reel in dunnage area over pump panel. Hanney model ECR 1620-17-18 w/elec rewind reel will have 250 FT OF 10/3 seoppene cord yellow in color inst on reel w 4 outlet junction box hardwired to cord. outlets to be l5-20 twist lock style. 2 ea two pull up floodlights in dunnage area above pump, fire research model FCA542-S75; 750 watt 120 volt 2 ea two rear scene lights Wehnlen model DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE: Offerors must provide descriptive literature adequate enough for the Government to determine if the proposed product(s) meet the Government's minimum requirements, as identified in the item description above. Failure of an offeror to submit descriptive literature for a proposed product(s) will result in that product(s) being rejected from further consideration. Further, descriptive literature which fails to show that the proposed product(s) complies with the requirements stated above will result in the rejection of that product(s). The Government will award based on lowest price, technically acceptable products and installation. BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government will make an award to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. In order for an offeror's product to be considered technically acceptable, the requirements identified above must be met by the proposed products. PROPOSAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price for the line item. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their response which can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.104-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The aforementioned provision and clauses can be accessed electronically at http://www.arnet.gov/far. A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Prospective sources are reminded that award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
