Description

Requirements type contract to provide Meals, Lodging & Transportation to applicants processing through the Sacramento MEPS during the base period 1 Apr 06 - 31 Mar 07 with four one year option periods. Services are for a supper meal, overnight lodgin g, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS. It is estimated that there will be 14,000 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 116 maximum, but average 54 applicants daily. This contract will be awa rded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort K nox hompage website at: http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about 2 Aug 05. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for ame ndments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Contractor is responsible for all costs of producing and mailing their proposal. Proposal must be written and submitted in original plus four copies and mailed to Directorate of Contracting, Bldg 1109 B, Rm 250, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5000. Please mark outside of package with solicitation number and opening date as stated in the solicitation in Block 8. Proposal will not be accepted by email or facsimile.
