Description

This synopsis is for Solicitation number W52H09-05-R-0474 and will be issued under Full and Open Competition. The items to be procured are Filter Assembly; NSN: 6665-01-385-7547; P/N: EA-PRF-2173 and the Drift Tube Module; NSN: 6665-01-383-6257; P/N : 442-070. This solicitation will result in a 5 year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price contract. The Filter Assembly consists of: male and female filter tubes; P/N: 442-1915 and 442-1914 respectively; it also contains a disc filt er; P/N: 442-1931. The Drift Tube Module consists of: Module kit drift tube, P/N: 442-073; Module Drift Tube, P/N: 442-069; and the drift tube module disc, P/N: 442-771. Outgas testing will be required on both items and a Chemical Agent Monitor, NSN: 666 5-01-199-4153, and associated TM, TM: 3-665-311-10, will be provided as government furnished equipment. A Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license is required in order to use the GFE. The guaranteed minimum quantity over 5 years for the Filter assembl y is 50 each. The guaranteed minimum quantity over 5 years for the Drift Tube Module is 100 each. First Article Test is required. Inspection and Acceptance is at origin. FOB Destination. Estimated solicitation issue date is 6 September 2005. This sol icitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
