Description

This is a Synopsis for commercial item procurement for leasing, delivery, installation, building return, teardown of Modular/Mobile units for Fireman?s sleeping quarters to be delivered to Naval Air Station, Boca Chica Air Field, Key West, Florida. Provide and install modular/mobile units for a base period of 12 months plus three 12-month option periods. The work includes all tools, labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision to Deliver and install Leased modular/mobile configurations to be used for berthing of Fire Fighters. Trailers will be required for a period of one (1) year, with three (3) one (1) year Option periods. The total price shall include costs for securing each trailer to meet State and local codes regarding storm force winds, and the removal and transport of both trailers upon completion of the lease. Modular/Mobile units are to be configured in a manner that they provide a total of 16 separate rooms of which each must equal or exceed 110 SF of floor space (typical: 10' x 11'). Each room will require private lockable entry (Preferably from a common hallway within the confines of the trailer), a window capable of being open and closed, switched overhead incandescent lighting, and two (2) 120v wall receptacles, one of which is to be GFCI protected. Restroom facilities are required for each Modular/Mobile units configuration and must contain a hand sink and single toilet in each. No tubs or Shower stalls are required. All interior walls shall be finished and painted. Modular/Mobile units will require a HVAC system capable of distribution to each living space, emergency egress lighting and exit lighting and sufficient smoke/fire detectors to meet applicable Florida Building Code. Sewer hook-up and electrical connection at Service Drops will be accomplished by the Government. Height Limitations: Total exterior height of Modular/Mobile units and/or associated systems shall not exceed 15 foot due to proximity to Airfield.
