Description

The USDA Forest Service, Fire and Aviation Management, Pacific Southwest Region (R5) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ATC Flight Simulators, 1756 N. Serrano Avenue, Los Angeles, CA. 90027, for continuing hardware and software enhancements for the USDA FS Aerial Supervision Simulation System. The Simulation System is central to the Aerial Simulation Program and is critical to the effective accomplishment of this program. To the best knowledge of the Forest Service, ATC Flight Simulator is the sole authorized provider for ATC-810M, ATC-610M and related hardware and software enhancements for the Federal Government. Any vendor responding to this request shall provide evidence that 1) it is a certified 3rd party provider of the ATC software, 2) it has an agreement with ATC to sell ATC Simulator products and 3) it is able to provide ATC Simulator related services to the Federal Government. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include all required evidence, as stated above, to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of the firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. All responses must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. Responses can also be faxed to (916) 640-1091, Attention: Susan Lam.
