Description

The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for 1-3/4 inch 8-strand, plaited nylon rope and 1-1/8 inch 8-strand, plaited nylon rope. The rope must meet the requirements as detailed in NDBC Procedure 1154 Rev. B dated 06/13/2001. The quantity for the 1-3/4 inch rope is 25,000 ft with an option to purchase an additional 20,000 ft. The quantity for the 1-1/8 inch rope is 20,000 ft with an option to purchase an additional 20,000 ft. The rope shall be delivered FOB-Destination to Stennis Space Center, MS. All documentation and certifications shall be delivered to and approved by NDBC prior to any shipment of rope. See attachments at this website announcement for the RFQ and specifications. This requirement is 100 percent small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 314991 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. See Note 1.
