Description

M-16 Training Weapons. Replica non-firing, M-16 for training purposes, Lackland AFB, Texas. This is a presolicitation notice to procure M-16 training weapons. The weapon is to be non-firing, no mechanical action, no batteries, and no air power. Will be used for training purposes only. The anticipated contract will be for an initial quantity of approximately 147 M-16 replicas, with options to purchase additional quantities in increments up to a total of 5,300. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332994, and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement is being issued as RESTRICTED (Set-Aside 100% for small business). The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and will be electronically posted on Fed Biz Ops (http://www.eps.gov), on or about 10 Aug 05. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. The solicitation must be downloaded from the internet. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. A contract will be awarded to the low responsible offeror whose bid conforms to the requirements of the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a bid that shall be considered by the Agency. All prospective bidders interested in submitting a bid on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE).
