Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separately. The solicitation number is FA5000-05-T-0016. This solicitation is issued as a sole-source, Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated FAR provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DCN 20050726. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to perform all the requirements contained in the Statement Of Work. (SOW). This Maintenance and Repair of the Target Retrieval requirement is for a Basic Year and Four Option Years. Work consists of but is not limited to: Responding to routine and emergency service calls and repairing and maintaining the target retrieval system. The intended source of this service is Meggitt Defense Systems Caswell because of the proprietary nature of the equipment. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
