Description: This acquisition is for commercial items or services. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, labor and supplies necessary to provide custodial services at the Kanopolis Lake Project Office, Marquette, Kansas. This solicitation contain s a base period plus four option periods. The base year period of performance runs from 01 October 2005 to 30 September 2006. The period of performance for Option period 1 runs from 01 October 2006 to 30 September 2007. The period of performance for optio n period 2 runs from 01 October 2007 to 30 September 2008. The period of performance for option period 3 runs from 01 October 2008 to 30 September 2009. The period of performance for option period 4 runs from 01 October 2009 to 30 September 2010. The gover nment will award a contract from this request for quotes to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price, experience and past performance considered. For evaluation purposes price, ex perience and past performance will all be weighted the same. The standard industrial code is 7349. The NAICS code is 561720. To do so requires CCR Registration, including an MPIN number. Instructions may be obtained, and required information may be entered, at http://orca.bpn.gov. One must register on the Kansas City District web site in order to receive any quotations. The web address is http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/contract/contract.html. REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including creation of an MPIN number. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished , at www.ccr.gov. By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during performance; and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation.
