Description
The mission of Multinational Security Transition Command- Iraq (MNSTC-I) is to organize, train, equip, and mentor credible and capable Iraqi Security Forces, in order to support Iraq?s ultimate goal of a unified, stable and democratic Iraq. To accomplish this, MNSTC-I must have robust and scalable information technology infrastructure. The solution was a complete, secure, redundant, robust, stand-alone enterprise/corporate voice and data network that provided mission essential voice and data communications necessary for command and control and the primary means for administrative and logistical support for all Joint Headquarters (JHQ) and MOD activities. This statement of work articulates the telecommunications engineering support, equipment, training, network administration, logistics support and maintenance requirements for MNSTC-I and MOD buildings in Baghdad, Iraq. This contract vehicle shall be linked to the Iraqi Defense Private Network (DPN) and Iraqi Defense Network (IDN) for vice and data services at the Iraqi Armed Forces base installations. The contractor shall provide the program management, procurement, implementation, installation, configuration, training, and maintenance of this integrated telecommunications system. The objective is to provide continued turn-key operations, maintenance, scaleable and integrated voice and data services to the client as well as future platform development. The MNSTC-I and the MOD/JHQ headquarters must be capable of voice, data and video with superior and subordinate elements including JHQ and connectivity to all IAF locations and base support structures across the country.
