Description

The 311th Human Systems Wing at Brooks City-Base, Texas contemplates award of a 5 year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for services involving the repair and calibration of medical and non-medical equipment within the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) located at Brooks. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS Code 541380 (NOTE: The standard for small businesses is $10,000,000 or less in annual receipts). The solicitation will be released on or about 08 Aug 05. The PMEL mission is to ensure the timely repair and calibration of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) meeting the minimum quality standards outlined in the Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL) Program as detailed in Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-113 and Technical Order (TO) 00-20-14. AFI 21-113 and TO 00-20-14 will be provided upon request. Please contact MSgt Donald Wooden at 210-536-3082 for copies of these documents. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform initial inspection, repair and calibration of all TMDE. In addition, the contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, calibration, and certification of technical equipment and instrumentation.
