MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAM 1. The following are questions and answers received as of 8 AUG 2005. Question 1: Will there be another site visit? Answer: No, because of time constraints the site visit was initiated early so that all potential bidders would have more time to prepare their packages, But, we do welcome questions. Question 2: Do you have a copy of the Quality Assuarance Plan in word format that you could forward to us? Answer: No, this is something the contractor supplies the Government. Question 3: In the solicitation are areas that we would have no expertise such as providing internet services etc. But there are areas that we are uniquely qualified. In this solicitation may we bid on that which we are qualified or must we bid the entire solicitation. Answer: The Government is requesting a complete package, but there are other companies you may want to partner. Question 4: Who will be able to access the Cyber Caf? for training. There was reference made that all individuals would be able to obtain this training, but this training is only for individuals listed in the Statement of Work- 1. Active duty military personnel and family assigned to MAFB; 2. DOD civilian employees and their family assigned to MAFB; 3. Retirees and their family living in the MAFB service area; 4. Reserve/Guard personnel and their family members assigned to MAFB; 5. All in the MacDill Air Force Base Community who desire to utilize this program and who otherwise are ELIGIBLE for MAFB services. Question 5: If an individual already has a secuirty clearance check from a previous background investigation will they still be required to obtain a background investigation at MAFB? Answer: Yes, because of the interface with children there will be specific things identified in this investigation. Question 6: Is Section 508 compliant materials required? Answer: Yes Question 7: What does it mean information shall be exportable? Answer: Information can be put on a CD or other types of media. Question 8: Distributed Learning courses must have student training materials. Are these to be downloadable for the web-based version or in printed format to be sent to a student beforehand? Answer: The SOW asks for innovation and creativity. We are open to your suggestions on these aspects. Question 9: I am interested in attending the site visit. There may be two of us attending, is this okay? Answer: Yes Question 10: Is it a safe assumption that you are not waiting for funding on this task? Answer: Funding will be there when required Question 11: Can you provide a list of businesses that are interested in the RFP? We are a small company that could team with a larger Prime. Answer: The FedBizOpps system includes the capability to join and view a published list of vendors interested in a particular solicitation. This is useful for vendors who are interested in teaming on procurement opportunities. In order to register as an interested vendor for a particular solicitation, the "Register as Interested Vendor" button must be available from the listing page for a solicitation. This service was enabled for FA4814-05-R-0022. Vendors can obtain more information on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) by clicking on the following link to our Vendor's Guide: http://www.eps.gov/EPSVendorsManual/VG6-Interest.html
