Description

The Bureau of Land Management Socorro Field Office through the BLM New Mexico State Office has a requirement for pinyon-juniper woodland health improvement and restoration services under the Stewardship Contracting authority of Public Law 108-7, Section 323. The 200-acre project site requiring treatment will yield approximately 262 cords of pinyon-juniper special forest products. Project location is nearby the town of Pie Town, New Mexico in Catron County. Note: All merchantable materials to be removed will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer values through either application of Conservation Credits earned or cash deposit. Evaluation criteria for award consideration, listed in descending order of importance, will include technical capability and approach to meet the government need; price; past performance; utilization of small and local business concerns including hiring of local employees; and small business program participation and certification such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8a, small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc.. Technical capability and past performance when combined are approximately equal to cost or price. Request for Quotation No. GDQ051072 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be posted on or by August 10, 2005.
