Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Base Bid: to demolish existing boat ramp and construct/install a 40 feet long by 14 feet wide concrete boat ramp; Bid Additive A: to install 8" thick gravel parking area complete with the associated clearing, drainage ditch construction, fill material, gravel and geotextile supply and installation, and parking bumper supply and installation; and Bid Additive B: to construct and install a prefabricated, preengineered aluminum floating boat dock (8' wide by 30' long) and gangway (6' wide by 15' long) with appropriate railing and the construction of a 64' long by 8' wide handicap accessible, pressure treated wood boardwalk to access the dock from the parking area. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 08/15/05, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued. The anticipated award date is on/about 09/30/05. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB Number 401815B024. Paper copies WILL NOT be available.
