Description

The Government intends procure a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis with Teledyne Instruments Monitor Labs, Gibsonia, PA. As required by Navy Public Works Center, Utilities Department Thermal Commodity, Norfolk, VA, the purchase order will be for the requirement for conducting an Annual Relative Accuracy Test Audit. The Performance Period for the resulting Purchase Order will be from date of award through October 7, 2005. The NAICS is 811310. The statutory authority for pursuing this action on a sole-source basis is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. There is only one responsible source able to provide the necessary supply item and no other item will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at http://wwwfedbizopps.gov. This office will no longer issue hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the contractor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance of the order and through final payment of the purchase order. Failure to register in the CCR may make an offeror ineligible for award. The solicitation will be posted on or 08 August 2005 and close on or about 15 August 2005. Number notes 22 applies.
