- The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, Office of the Border Patrol Air and Marine Operations Center, El Paso, Texas, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HSBP1005Q0423 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This is a request for quotation in accordance with FAR 13. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. The RFQ will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments and award will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration, Online Representations and Certifications Application (http://orca.bpn.gov), and provide DUNS number and TIN with quotation. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System code is 611512. The small business size standard is $21.5 in revenues. A single award will be made. CLIN 00010: MD500E Recurrent Training $___________. Performance shall be at the US Border Patrol Air Operations, 7685 Pogo Row, San Diego, CA 92154. The training is to include auto-rotation with touchdown and a full system review. Training is to be provided in Contractor owned and operated MD500E. There will be 15 Border Patrol pilots, with three students per class session. Training will be conducted Monday through Friday. The cost is to include all aircraft ferry charges, fuel, pilot time, per diem, training materials, etc., necessary to fulfill this requirement. Ramp space and classroom space will be provided by the Government. Please provide a proposal outlining your training schedule, a syllabus outline, and cost breakout.
