- This synopsis is issued by The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) will procure onsite, Commercial Information Technology Support Services for Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) Mechanicsburg located at 5450 Carlisle, Mechanicsburg PA. The solicitation HC1013-05-R-2019 will be issued for Technical Support Services to include, but not limited to, System Integrator, Oracle and IDMS DBMS Manager, CICS/WebSphere MQ Technical Support, Session Manager/File Transfer Technical Support, TCP/IP Senior Technical Support, and Scheduling Support. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19 Subpart 8, the Government intends for this acquisition to be offered for competition limited to 8(a) concerns. The procurement will be 100% set -aside for 8(a) Program participants, on the Small business Administration (SBA) list of Qualified 8(a) Small business concerns. The Period of Performance will be a base period from 01 October 2005 thru 30 Sep 2006 with four (4) 1-year options. The national American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519. The anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or about 08 Aug 2005 with proposals due on or about 22 Aug 2005. All responsible and eligible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The Solicitation and all related documents will be issued electronically and posted on the DITCO Home Page, Contracting Opportunities at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop. During the registration process, choose the option for ?The solicitation requires vendor registration for eligibility. Contractors should register a minimum of one week prior to uploading questions/comments to ensure the upload is accomplished by the closing date and time. Contractors should also attempt to upload their response as early as possible to ensure no problems arise at the last minute.
