Description

This project contains construction of sixteen (16) rock fords and obstruction removal of three (3) areas to restore wetlands in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. The Work includes: approx. 2,155 cu yds of excavation; approx. 672 tons of rock fill for bedding of fords; approx. 100 tons of riprap for fords; approx. 3,776 sq yds of geotextile; three (3) areas of obstruction removal; and eight (8) locations of structure removal. The performance time is 58 calendar days (including mobilization). The estimated price is in the range of $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. This solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizzops.gov, on or about August 23, 2005. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. at the Orangeburg Field Office, 1550 Henley Street, NE, Room 103, Orangeburg, SC. After a brief meeting, a tour of the site will be held.
