- Description
- Copier service for the Western Pacific Region, which includes specific FAA offices in California, Nevada and Arizona. In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management Systems (FAAAMS), the FAA intends to solicit a Request for Offers (RFO). Award resulting from the RFO will be based on Best Value to the FAA giving consideration to: (1) total cost to the FAA, and (2) Offeror's past performance and experience with the copier service. The successful offeror shall furnish all copiers (rental basis), necessary labor, materials and training in the performance of the FAA Western Region copier service. The solicitation will request pricing for a base period contract with four (4) option years for a total contract period of five years. The FAA reserves the right to terminate this contract with a 60 day notice at no additional cost to the agency. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds clause [3.3.1-10 Availability of Funds (April 1996)]. Request for a Solicitation package must identify the solicitation number and must be requested via facsimile to 310-725-6842 or in writing or by e-mail address to kenneth.wilcox@faa.gov. Verbal of telephone requests will not be honored. Questions may be addressed to the CO at 310-725-7549. A request for a solicitation package must be received no later than August 11, 2005 - 1700hours PDT. The solicitation for this service project will not be issued until the closing date of this announcement to ensure equal response time. Request for this RFO package will only be honored by those interested Offeror's with a base of operations in southern California. The FAA may make an award without communications or negotiations; however, communications and/or negotiations may be conducted to determine the best value to the FAA. The FAA also reserves the right to cancel, terminate this request for solicitation/RFO at any time before, during or after the closing date.
