- The Aleda E Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, MI is seeking qualified, responsible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms who have the capacity and capability to provide all necessary, labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete Project #655-05-102 replace fire alarm system at the Saginaw VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602. Construction cost range is $500,000.00-$1,000,000.00. NAICS for this procurement is 238210, size standard 12.0 million. A thirty (30) day bid acceptance is required. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 23, 2005 at 10:00 am local time in the Basement Room 71, Bldg 1 at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, MI. Bid documents will be available on or about August 12th, 2005. Interested bidders must submit WRITTEN REQUESTS ONLY to the Contracting Officer or e-mail joseph.roberts@med.va.gov. or to carole.soule@med.va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted. All respondents must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov. Bid documents will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Drawings and specifications are issued on compact disk (CD) only. This procurement is 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bids from other than SDVOSB's will not be accepted. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
