- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ROC Seckenheim intends to award to AVID Technology, Inc. 1101 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 600, Washington, D.C. 2004, as a sole source contract, requirements to upgrade and enhance an existing AVID system for audio-visual editing. This contract will al so include installation, testing and on-going maintenance. In the event that any other firm believes that they have a product that can seamlessly interface with the existing equipment and can provide an adequate description of such products for expert rev iew and determination, the proposal can be submitted to the address address contained in this synopsis/solicitation.
