Description

THIS IS AN UNRESTRICED PROCUREMENT REQUEST FOR BID. CONTACT INFO: Interested firms must register via the Walla Walla Districts web page at http://www.nww.usace.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE ONLY. The work will consist of performing maintenance on the outlet conduit to Mill Creek Dam including the following: a) Relining the interior of 800 lineal feet of 42 inch diameter steel pipe and 128 lineal feet of 36 inch diameter steel pipe with coat tar epoxy. b) Removal, repair, and reinstallation of 36 inch diameter Howell Bunger valve. c) Inspection, repair, and repainting of a 54 inch sluice gate. d) Repair internal spalling of 448 lineal feet of 42 inch diameter concrete cylinder pipe. e) Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble a 36 inch gate valve. Completion date for the work is 90 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $250,000 and $500,000. The standard industria l classification code (SIC) is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $28,500,000.00. This synopsi s is not a request for bid, but a notice that a solicitation will be issued. A site visit will be scheduled. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
