- THIS IS A SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION N62467-05-R-2353 WHICH IS BEING ADVERTISED UNRESTRICTED, FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering, Southern Division, is seeking to award a Firm Fixed-Price, IDIQ Contract to provide Preventative Maintenance and Inspection of Hydrosite Closed Loop Vehicle Wash Systems installed at Marine Corp Reserve Centers. The locations of the Marine Corp Reserve Centers are (1) NAS/JRB Fort Worth, TX, (2) Rochester, NY, (3) Ebensburg, PA, (4) Garden City, NY, (5) Galveston, TX, (6) AFRC Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, NY, (7) Reading, PA, (8) Alameda, CA, (9) South Bend, IN, and (10) Knoxville, TN. In addition the contract requires the contractor to provide annual training at each site on how to run and maintain the system. The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment to accomplish the requirements of task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. The 2002 NAICS Code for the proposed acquisition is 811310, Hydraulic Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services, and the small business size standard is $6 Mil. Federal Supply Code is 4940, Miscellaneous Maintenance Equipment. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number in order to participate in this procurement. For instructions on registering with the CCR, please visit the website for CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to issue the Request for Proposal (RFP), electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC Website, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil on 12 August 2005. Offerors must register on the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Proposals are due on August 30, 2005. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal.
