Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency  Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Meret Optical Communications, 7343 Ronson Road, Suite N, San Diego, CA 92111-1430. This contract will be for the purchase of twenty (20) video distribution amplifier model # DA-5320B and sixteen (16) adapter frame model # FA-5325A to be used with other like systems already in use at YPG. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by 17 August 2005, 3:00PM MST. Email your response to DJ Neal at Dale.Neal@yuma.army.mil In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 8 days instead of 45 days.
