Description

Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to rebuild 176 foot stretch of river bank along Kelly Island Campground using Presto GEOWEB or approved equal. The bank will be rebuilt using a rock rip rap toe and GEOWEB protected slopes. Top soil will be used above the high water elevation and a native seed mix will be used for reseeding. A five foot wide trail will also be constructed 10 feet from the top of the GEOWEB. The trail will be constructed using a compacted subgrade, fabric, and four inches of 3/4" crushed material. Work under this Contract is located in Bonneville/Jefferson County, three miles upriver from Heise Hot Springs. The work site is at the Kelly Island Campground. Performance Period is 60 Calendar days. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 100% Payment Bond is required for contracts greater than $25,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about August 24, 2005. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov.
