The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 12, 2005. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Project Title, Provide Custodial services to Four (4) locations and an option bid for a 5th. Fire Island National Seashore, Fire Island, NY 11772. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price service contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to: maintaining the areas in a clean and sanitary condition as per the scope of work in support of Fire Island National Seashore operations. All work will be performed under a single contract. The NAICS code for this project is 561720, product service code S201 and the small business size standard is $14.0 million. Contract duration is 1 year (1 Oct 2005-30 Sep 2006) + 4 option years. This is a request for quotationl (RFQ) and is subject to the provision of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties at Park Hqs 120 Laurel St Patchoque 11772. Responses will be due 13 Sep 2005.
