Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source contract to Lipper, Inc., for the provision of on-line access to current and historical information on mutual funds in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a). This award may be issued with a base and four one-year options. The aforementioned services are required in order to satisfy the SEC's need for constant, electronic, real-time, comprehensive mutual funds data. The period of performance for this award is: August 31, 2005 through July 01, 2006. Lipper, Inc., is the only known source that possesses the historical capability required by the SEC. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of this service, which maybe considered by the agency. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement, and no other information will be provided.
