This solicitation is amended to change the response date to: August 18, 2005******************************************** This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement consists of 001 line items: Qty (1) SMARTCYCLER SYSTEM SC2500N5-1 Cepheid name Brand or Equal, 2 UNITS DTOP LS 2 Processing Blocks each with 16 Independent Reaction Sites, each with 4-color Optical Excitation and Detection, Includes: (1) Desktop Computer with a flat panel Monitor, Life Science Software, (1) Operators Manual, (4) Tube Racks, (1) cooling Block, (1) mini-Centrifuge and (100) 25uL reaction Tubes. Deliverables and acceptance of deliverables will be at USDA APHIS NVSL Ames Iowa 50010. The equipment awarded under this contract must be delivered to the destination no later than September 30, 2005. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable responsible bidder whose quote conforms to this solicitation. Ease of portability and compatibility with existing PCR platform essential.
