Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director (OD), Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations (OLAO), Division of Logistics Services (DLS), Gaithersburg Distribution Center (GDC) intends to award a fixed-price, indefinite delivery (requirements) type contract for a period of one year with four successive 12-month options for filtered animal shipping boxes, NSN #8115-00-L04-0816 and NSN #8115-00-L04-0817, corrugated. Reverse auction procedures are being utilized for this acquisition. Responses to this solicitation will be evaluated and only those determined to be responsive to the solicitation will be invited to participate in the reverse auction. The solicitation will be available on or about August 24, 2005 and will be distributed via Federal Express mailings. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA). Please refer to http://orca.bpn.gov/ in order to register. Also, all contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
