Description

The VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Applied Biosystems of Foster City, CA to acquire a 7900 HT Fast Real Time 384-well w/robot. VA Connecticut requires this piece of equipment as it is designed to replace the existing one already in place at this facility. Applied BIosystems is the only known provder of this type of equipment that is essential to the ongoing gentic studies at this facility. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government will consider all proposals received by 8/17/05. A determination based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See note 22
