Description
In accordance with FAR 52.232-18, the items or services in this request for quotation is being requested should End of the Fiscal Year Funds become available. By soliciting for these items or services prior to the receipt of the required funds it is the Contracting Officers intent to have all necessary actions and paperwork ready for an award. Should the allocated funds become available they will do so on or before 30 September 2005. In order to streamline the process please have all quoted prices valid through 30 September 2005. Clause FAR 52.232-18 - Availability of Funds applies to this request. Luke AFB, AZ has an end of the year requirement for the following. Please provide your quote by e-mail to: carol.cherapan@luke.af.mil no later than 12 August 2005. The contractor shall install an alarm dialer, annotate the ladder logic, and perform field calibration. 1. The contractor shall install and connect a RACO Verbatim Auto dialer to the SCADA system. The dialer will automatically dial a selected telephone number when ever there is an alarm condition based on a low level alarm. 2. The contractor shall annotate the ladder logic print outs for the entire SCADA system. 3. Contractor shall provide through training on all equipment installed. 4. The contractor is to provide all the materials according to the specifications. 5. The contractor will not install any programs or devices that will inhibit the operation of the SCADA system. For example, shutting the system down or off or installing a bomb in the system. 6. Contractor is to provide date of completion. 7. Contractor will start no earlier than 0630. At the end of each day, the site will be clean of debris and stowed properly. 8. Any damage done to the SCADA system during installation must be repaired. Leave the site clean after completion.
