- This requirement is being posted to find vendors to perform preventative maintenance each six months for all compressors, dryers, and filters as identified by serial number and model in the Statement Of Work (SOW). I have also included the Statement Of Work (SOW). STATEMENT OF WORK 302d Maintenance Group Compressor, Dryer, and Filter Maintenance 1. SCOPE. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, travel, freight and other items and services necessary to perform preventive maintenance and inspection of compressors, dryers, and filters located in various units within the 302d Maintenance Group buildings on Peterson AFB, Colorado. 2. SPECIFIC TASKS. The contractor will conduct all preventive maintenance and inspections at Peterson AFB, and will not remove compressors, dryers, or filters from the base to perform service. Each unit within the 302d Maintenance Group will provide an area for the vendor to perform the maintenance inspection. In the event that the vendor requires a larger area than provided, the vendor must request of the 302d Maintenance Group, in advance, the size area required to perform service. The majority of the service will be performed in the general location where the compressor is located. 2.1. The following service requirements per compressor and dryer shall be performed for inspections every six months: Check the condition of all belts and adjust the tension of all belts Check the condition of starter contacts and clean Check and record control panel parameters and warning shutdown history Check operation of system Record running amps and volts 2.2. The following additional service requirements per compressor and dryer shall be performed for preventive maintenance every six months: Adjust controls, wipe off any oil leaks and tighten as required Change oil and air filter Change separator element and coolant every 8000 hours or two years, whichever comes first, unless the differential gauge reflects that the separator needs to be changed Check fan motor and main motor, and lubricate Check condition of cooler and blow out, clean as required Check and clean condensate drain as required Take oil sample every 2000 hours Take standard preventive maintenance reading on Air End and Motor Provide a repair list by compressor and dryer for repair action Provide MSDS for all grease, lubricants, and potential hazardous materials prior to arrival so that a HazMart account can be established for this contract. Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in voiding of the maintenance contract. 3. WORK CONTROL The vendor will coordinate maintenance service with the 302d Maintenance Group POC in sufficient time for an area to be prepared to conduct the maintenance, and to allow disruption in the work area(s) to be kept to a minimum. Coordination by the vendor is imperative to ensure that the compressor, dryer, or filter may be placed in an inoperable status in order for the vendor to perform the maintenance or inspection. Hours of operation for the 302d Maintenance Group are 0700 through 1700 Monday through Friday. 4. DELIVERY AND INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE. Contractor will notify the 302d Maintenance Group POC upon completion of work for inspection and acceptance. The 302d Maintenance Group POC is MSgt Gerald Tuttle, 719-556-7300. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION 5.1. ACCESS TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY AND FACILITIES: The vendor will require non-escorted access to Government buildings 207, 208, 210, 214, 216, 502, and 888 on Peterson AFB consistent with service requirements. 5.2. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE. Work will be performed in Government facilities located at Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO, as identified in 5.1. 5.3. EQUIPMENT INFORMATION.
