- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4417-05-Q-7063 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This solicitation is unrestricted; the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334517 with a size standard of 500 employees. The SIC code is 3844. A Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order will be issued in writing. Hurlburt Field requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 ? One (1) each Digital Radiographic System as defined below. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, facilities, and transportation necessary to provide a complete Digital Radiographic Imaging System for Nondestructive Inspection with imager, workstation, high resolution flat-screen displays, 600 GB hard drive, CD/DVD burner, imaging software, phosphor scanner/eraser, one hundred (100) 14 inch by 17 inch premium IP flexible phosphor imaging screens, on site installation including portal to portal cost, shipping cases for all components, a printer/feeder capable of 14 inch by 17 inch transparencies for overlap purposes (HP Designjet 500 OR EQUAL, 24 inch max print width, roll transport kit included). This system is to be used for Nondestructive Inspection and must be mobile. Due to the high tempo of operations that this unit will experience, response time to service calls must be no more than 24 hours. Shipping will be FOB Destination for all items. The following clauses apply to this acquisition and are included in full text: FAR 52.212-1 ? Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items (Jan 2005) applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-1(b)(4) is amending to include the following: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to 16 CONS/LGCB, Attn: Amn Chris Taylor, 350 Tully St, Bldg 90339, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810 by 19 August 2005 at or before 3:00 pm local time. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number FA4417-05-Q-7063. FAR 52.212-2 ? Evaluation?Commercial Items (Jan 1999), which is incorporated into this synopsis/solicitation, with addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The lowest price shall be used to evaluate offers. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the greatest value to the Government.
