UPLOAD SOLICITATION FILE FOR COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAM ****FA4814-05-T-0009 WAS CHANGED TO FA4814-05-R-0022**** *****QUESTION AND ANSWERS***** MEMORANDUM FOR ALL POTENTIAL OFFERORS SOLICITATION FA4814-05-R-0022 FROM 6 CONS/LGCA SUBJECT: Answers to submitted questions ? MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAM 1. The following are questions and answers received as of 10 AUG 2005. Question 1: Sec 7.2 Contractor is required to provide a class roster to facility point of contact at least 30 days prior to class start. Contractor anticipates that many classes will be offered each month. Some will last for several hours, while others will last for several weeks. We would like to be able to register participants right up to the time class starts if there is still space available. Is it possible to continue to add to the roster once it is provided to the facility point of contact? Answer: The Government sees no problem with this. It basically would be the responsibility of the contractor to ensure the facility POC has a current listing, updating on an on-gong basis as needed. Question 2: Sec 9.4 Is contractor expected to offer a normal schedule of youth courses during the periods when Cybercamps are being run? We would like to have our youth staff also be involved in Cybercamps if possible? Answer: Yes, not all youth may want toparticipate in the cyber camps sowe would want access to on-going youth courses. Question 3: Equipment - a. Will computers in each location be available solely for use with this program or be shared with other program? Answer: During the identified times of the on-line technology program they would be exclusively used by this program. This program will always have first priority. b. Will computers be available to users when contractor staff is not present? Answer: Yes, computers will only be available for other users when not in use to support this program. c. How is it anticipated that accountability for equipment will be maintained by contractor if equipment will be used without contractor personnel present? Answer: Contractor will establish an accountability system with facility POC that is mutually agreeable. If a mutual agreement can not be reached, then the technology program may possible retain exclusive use. Question 4: Will it be possible to run any youth programs, including Cybercamps or clubs at Building 4 ? Brandon? Answer: Yes, however, they will have to be coordinated with the facility POC and can not reduce or compromise the services being provided at the primary youth facilities. These would be in addition to not in place of. . Question 5: Sec 13 requires that equipment be turned over to government in ?new condition? at end of contract. Turning the equipment over in ?appropriate? or ?working? condition might be more realistic. Answer: New condition may be able to be further defined as in ?best working condition? for the age of the equipment. Question 6: What is the implementation timeline for setup of the furniture and equipment in each lab? Answer: This can be negotiated based on the requirements at each facility to determine a timely implementation.
