Description

THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON THE WEB VIA FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES (FEDBIZOPS). NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION OR AMENDMENTS WILL BE ISSUED. No public announcement of any amendments will be made. Vendors are advised to periodicall y check the web page for new amendments or other updates. Any changes to this solicitation will be posted only to the website. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted to the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer prior to the closing date. Estimated date of solicitation release is on or about 12 August 2005 with a closing date approximately 30 days from issue. Due to the urgency of the requirement the Government is not required to wait the usual 15 days after announcement to issue the sol icitation. The proposed contract is a competitive firm fixed price best value acquisition. Purchase Description: This solicitation is to fulfill an urgent FMS requirement for the following items: 50,000 each, CTG 7.62mm 4Ball/1Tracer, Final Destination: Iraq; 1,750 each, Flash Bang Grenade, Final Destination: Iraq; 150 each, Sim Hand Grenade M116, Final Destination: Philippines; 2,648 each, Flash Bang Grenade, Final Destination: Philippines; 620 each, Nonel Instantaneous Det, Final Destination: Phil ippines; 940 each, Shock Tube Initiator, Final Destination: Philippines; 840 each, Nonel, 2M 3.8 Sec, Final Destination: Philippines. Delivery time: 30 days after date of award for Iraq items and Dec 2005 for Philippine items. The applicable NAICS co de is 332933 with size standard for small business of 1500 employees.
