Description

This solicitation is for the Design and Construction of the Lee Ranger Station and Visitor Center located on the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, within the city limits of Edinburg, Virginia. This will be a One (1) Step design-build Request for Proposals, and the Schedule of Items will include one or more Options. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. This project will consist of the design and construction of a single story building, approximately 9,890 square feet, including site work and utilities. This project requires further design development and preparation of a complete set of construction drawings and specifications based upon conceptual drawings, including a preliminary site plan, a floor plan, and a three-dimensional building model, prepared by the government. Further design to be completed by a contractor will include complete civil, architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and telecommunications designs as applicable, and including any additional surveying or site investigation work deemed to be required. This project will result in construction of the design, as a complete working facility ready for occupancy, including site work and utilities. A Business, Technical, and Price Proposal is required at the time Receipt of Offers is due.
