Description

This is a Department of Defense public announcement for a streamlined competition to be performed in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, 29 May 2003, by the Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 56th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force base, Arizona. The commercial activities being competed are aircraft transient alert maintenance services including, but not limited to arrival services, ground handling, aircraft safety of flight inspection, maintenance, aircraft forms documentation, processing services, departure services, and maintenance on assigned powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment. The incumbent service providers that will be impacted by this streamlined competition are approximately 26 active duty military personnel assigned to the 56th Maintenance Group, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. As required by the circular, the streamlined competition performance decision will be made within 90 calendar days. This public announcement does not obligate the Government to award any contract, however, a contract may or may not be awarded to private sector source depending on this streamlined competition. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Ms. Annie L. Andrews. The Contracting Officer and Agency Tender Official (ATO) for this streamlined competition are Mr. Stanley D. Janders and Mr. Donavan Pribyl. The date of this public announcement is the official start date for this streamlined competition. NO SOLICITATIO HAS BEEN DEVELOPED OR IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. No Response to this public notice is required. The projected end date for the performance decision is on or before 7 November 2005.
