- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. This posting is to inform potential providers that Dover Air Force Base, Delaware has a requirement for the following eight (8) Items: ITEM 1: Six (6) Perception Sparky Kayaks that are 9?4? in length, 29.5? in width, 36 lbs in weight, polyethylene constructed hull with foot braces, adjustable seat with back rest, color is red or yellow, and quote is for same or like item. ITEM 2: Four (4) Old Town Loon 160T kayaks that are 16? in length, 29.5? in width, 74 lbs in weight, polyethylene constructed hull with foot braces, deck rigging and paddle holders, color is red and green, and quote is for same or like item. ITEM 3: Six (6) Dagger Catalyst Kayaks that are 12?10? in length, 28? in width, 46 lbs in weight, polyethylene constructed hull with foot and rear hatch with bulk heads, color is blue or orange, and quote is for same or like item. ITEM 4: Twelve (12) Carlisle Magic Aluminum Recreational Paddle Boats, blue ice blade, 220 cm, and quote is for same or like item. ITEM 5: Eight (8) Carlisle Magic Aluminum Recreational Paddle Boats, blue ice blade, 230 cm, and quote is for same or like item. ITEM 6: Twelve (12) Slant 6 Rescue Throw Bags that are 50? in length, made of 5/16? polypropylene yellow rope, reflective panel for high visibility, mesh panel for quick drying, whistle lock buckle functions as a high decibel whistle, and quote is for same or like item. ITEM 7: Twenty-Five (25) Extrasport Volksvest lifejackets, constructed of 200 denier nylon and double sided adjustment straps, color is blue, quantity and sizes are: Ten (10) M/L, Five (5) child, Five (5) youths, Five (5) XL/XXL, and quote is for same or like item. ITEM 8: One (1) Kayak Trailer that is a model 8 or 6/8 trailer with box, fully wired with 2? ball coupler, standard with torflex axles, 7? cross arms that are 19? apart, width is 8?, galvanized finish, and quote is for same or like item. The details of contract: Only small businesses are eligible for award. The North American Industry Classification system code is 451110. The business must have less than 500 employees to be considered small business. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, is applicable to this solicitation.
