Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Geology Discipline in Reston, Virginia intends to make award on a sole source basis to The Natural History Museum Trading Company of London. The USGS Mineral Resource Assessment Project (GMRAP) will purchase digital GIS geologic and mineral-resource products of the Ural Mountains in Russia and Kazakhstan. The anticipated award date is 08/15/2005. The NAICS code is 712110. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. No additional synopsis will be published. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
