Description

The United States Geological Survey has a requirement for technical support services. The primary location will be the National Wetlands Research Center in Lafayette, LA. Secondary locations are other USGS science centers and field sites. The Government intends to award an IDIQ contract and will order services by performance-based task order. The period of performance for the contract will be for a base period of 12 months and four option periods of 12 months. Planned start date of the base period is 4/1/2006. The contractor will provide technical support services for the programs and activities in five major areas: (1) biological/ecological research; (2) information and technology transfer; (3) information resources management; (4) spatial analysis; and (5) database development and mapping. The contractor will also perform program management and administration of all contractor activities. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
